Today was Madison's last day of school. She loves school, but she has told me that she is ready for a break. It was a successful year full of accomplishments in math and in her language studies, but her reading is out of this world. She has been reading in the 2nd grade level for a while now - if there are words in front of her she will read (even magazines at the check out lines in stores - sometimes not the best thing to here from your daughters mouth, I just hope she doesn't understand it). She had her class party last Tuesday and I made little cupcake pops for the kids - they are the cupcake class. I saw them on Martha Stuart during her cupcake week, the gal that made them has a blog -

These were SO GOOD that I saved all of them for myself and gave none to my children-what kind of mother am I?!
